Welcome
The Huntington Beach Tree Society was founded and incorporated as a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization in 1998. Our goal is to improve the urban forest and educate the public about the importance of the urban forest. What is exceptional about us is that we are an all volunteer organization and donations do not go to salaries and we have a donated office. Our dollars and donations go a long way. So far we have planted/purchased over 4,500 trees.
On April 19 the Huntington Beach Tree Society, Inc. in partnership with the City will celebrate Arbor Day at Gibbs Park which is located on Graham St. (across the street from Meadow Lark Golf Course). Tree planting and butterfly plant planting begins at 9:00 am and Arbor Day ceremony begins at 11:30 am. Public invited to restore this Monarch butterfly park by helping with the plantings. Tools will be provided to workers. You could also just come to enjoy all the provided activities and fun. Like get your picture taken with a walking tree or butterfly.
